Everest “Tuck” “June” Tucker, Jr., 67, of Farmington, NY passed away peacefully on April 1st, 2017.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00am on May 6th, 2017 at Farmington United Methodist Church in Farmington.
Everest was born in Florence AL on October 3rd, 1949. He graduated from Jamesville-DeWitt High School in 1967 and then went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree of Electrical Engineering and Master’s Degree of Engineering Management from Syracuse University.
Everest was married to Cynthia on February 17th, 1973; they were married 44 years.
Everest worked in the fields of electrical engineering, hardware engineering and software engineering for companies such as Smith Corona, Kodak, Xerox and General Electric.
Everest retired from Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES as a web developer in 2011.
He enjoyed pocket billiards and chess, where he attended the rank of National Master from the United States Chess Federation.
He was also actively involved in his church Farmington United Methodist Church, where he served on the intercessory prayer team.
Everest is survived by his wife Cynthia, sons; Phillip (Adriane Wildrick), Andre, Paul and Dylan, his mother Mrs. Louise Tucker, brother Derrick “Bob” Tucker and sister Brenda Tucker Johnson and other family and friends.
Everest is preceded in death by his father Everest Tucker, Sr. and sister Susan “Sue” Tucker Ehrmann.
